Calco Group B.V. (hereinafter: CALCO) welcomes you to this website and appreciates your interest in our company. CALCO highly values your privacy. That is why we consider it important to inform you about how we handle your personal data.

General
This Privacy Policy applies to all personal data that visitors of CALCO’s website leave behind. When you visit our website, you may be asked to submit your personal data. You are free to decide whether to do so. By submitting your personal data, you accept this Privacy Policy. If you do not accept the terms of this Privacy Policy, you cannot apply for a position at CALCO in this manner.

Processing personal data
When you request or enter information via the website, we will ask for personal data such as your name, contact details, CV and other information necessary for the application process.

If an application does not match the requested profile, it may be rejected based on automated decision making. This is done in order to properly process the large number of applications we receive.

We expect the personal data you submit to be correct. CALCO processes these personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. To facilitate the correct processing of the data, they are also processed by OTYS, the supplier of the software used to provide the online application features. To this end, OTYS has signed a processor agreement with CALCO, in accordance with the GDPR.

If you apply for a position at CALCO via the website, your personal data are processed for the purposes of registering, processing and handling your application. Your data may also be used for the purpose of sending digital newsletters, provided that you explicitly consented to receiving said newsletters.

As part of our data processing activities, your personal data may be sent to one or more of CALCO’s subsidiaries, insofar as it is necessary or relevant to do so for the purpose of handling your request or application. You can withdraw your consent for this processing at any time by sending an email to the email address listed under the heading ‘Contact’.

Storing personal data
CALCO only stores and uses personal data that were submitted directly to CALCO or for which it is clear at the time of submission that they would be released to CALCO.

CALCO will not store your data any longer than strictly necessary. For applications, this means a period of up to twelve months, after which CALCO will delete the data pertaining to the application. CALCO may store anonymised data for statistical and research purposes. CALCO has taken the necessary security measures to prevent the loss, unlawful usage or modification of any personal data you provide.

During each visit to the website, your (temporary) IP address is automatically recognised, as is the website of origin (if applicable). CALCO stores and uses this information to analyse the navigation pathways and visited pages and for marketing purposes, in order to improve the awareness, functionality and contents of the website.

Sharing information
CALCO will not share the personal data you provide with any third parties, unless

• You have given your direct and personal consent to do so;
• It is necessary to share these data in light of an agreement between you and CALCO;
• It is necessary to share these data in order to take precontractual measures following a request on your part, where these measures are necessary for the purpose of closing an agreement. This includes an application at CALCO;
• CALCO has to comply with a valid legal request, including summoning or being summoned, complying with requests from a court of law or initiating legal procedures; or
• CALCO believes that you have violated the website’s code of conduct.

CALCO collects website usage data in order to make use of Google Analytics. These data include your computer’s IP address, the time of your visit and any data sent by your browser. These data are used to analyse the (clicking) behaviour of website visitors. The data acquired in this manner, including your computer’s IP address, are processed by Google Analytics. For more information, please consult the privacy policy of Google and/or Google Analytics. The data included in the Google Analytics Cookies will only be sent to Google. Furthermore, CALCO uses a third party to keep its website up to date. This party does not have access to any personal data.

No personal data are collected, unless the contact form is filled out.

CALCO will not store your personal data any longer than strictly necessary in order to realise the purpose for which the data were collected. Your data are not stored for longer than three months. CALCO processes your personal data for the purpose of contacting you via telephone and/or in writing (via email) if you request us to do so.

CALCO wants to remind users of their rights, which they can and may exercise with regards to the data collected via the website:

• Right of access: users may request to access their own personal data. The data will be sent to the user within one month.
